Physiotherapy Fees Update

At Respire Tasmania, we remain committed to providing high-quality, individualised care that reflects current clinical standards in respiratory, neurological and rehabilitation physiotherapy.

From 21 September 2026, we will be updating our private physiotherapy fees.

We greatly value the trust you place in our team and the opportunity to support you with your health and care.

Over the past year, Respire Tasmania has continued to grow and develop our services in response to the needs of our community. This has included expanding our neuro-respiratory care, increasing home visit availability, improving access to specialised respiratory equipment, and growing our team to include skilled neuro-respiratory physiotherapists, occupational therapy, speech pathology and therapy assistants.

This means we can increasingly provide a coordinated, multidisciplinary approach to care, particularly for people living with respiratory conditions, neurological conditions and more complex rehabilitation needs.

We believe good care takes time. We want you to feel heard, understood and genuinely supported when you come to see us. Our role is to help make sense of what is happening, guide you through the next steps, and take some of the weight off your shoulders as you move through your health journey.

Each year, we review our fees to ensure we can continue providing the standard of care our patients expect. Our updated fees reflect the increasing costs associated with employing and retaining skilled clinicians, ongoing professional development, maintaining specialised equipment, and delivering high-quality community-based care.

This change applies to privately paying physiotherapy patients only.

Our new private physiotherapy fees from 21 September 2026 will be:

Standard Physiotherapy
Initial Consultation – 45 minutes: $163
Review Consultation – 30 minutes: $109
Long Consultation – 60 minutes: $218

Senior Physiotherapy
Initial Consultation – 45 minutes: $178
Review Consultation – 30 minutes: $119
Long Consultation – 60 minutes: $238

Specialist Physiotherapy – Susan
Initial Consultation – 45 minutes: $193
Review Consultation – 30 minutes: $129
Long Consultation – 60 minutes: $258

For us, sustainability means being able to continue providing the time, expertise and individual attention you deserve, both now and into the future.

Most importantly, our commitment remains unchanged: care comes first.

We will continue to accept EPC referrals, and on-site private health rebates remain available.
